Write, Starr

Write, Starr

Write, Starr.
Do it. Write about love, or fear, or the world, but write, dammit!
Share your pain and your progress. Share your fears and share your hopes. Share your dreams!
What are they? Do I even know anymore?
Of course I do – it’s always been the same.

Keep writing, Starr.
For hours a day.
Don’t let fear or doubt or perfectionism or habitual patterns stop you.
Write even if it’s crap. Write even if it’s boring to sit and see your thoughts on paper or screen.
Write for the people who need to hear it – for the world that is hungry to know what you know.
Write for those who can no longer write on this plane of existence.
Write for those who don’t have a voice or a platform.
Write to get out the thoughts that keep lingering, bouncing around, or getting in the way.
Write about how far you’ve come, how many people you’ve been harmed by, and how commitment to yourself and your family kept you going.

Write!
Not as a victor or as a victim, but as a woman who has been through a lot & keeps going & keeps giving & keeps showing up.
You hear that?
I keep showing up!

Write, Starr –
Stop looking for yourself in other people’s writing &
Show yourself in yours.
